Capital Area Young Marines is the local unit for the Young Marines of the Marine Corps League.    We serve young people across Central Texas from Killeen and Temple all the way south to San Antonio, and from Johnson City and Fredericksburg all the way east to College Station and Brenhan.    Most of our currently enrolled Young Marines live in the Austin area.

The Young Marines is a youth education and service program for boys and girls, ages 8 through completion of high school.   The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members.   The program focuses on character building, leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.   The Young Marines is the focal point for the U.S. Marine Corps' youth Drug Demand Reduction efforts.
The new Boot Camp class of 2012 is forming now.  These recruits will go to Boot Camp during Spring Break of 2012.
Join us at our April 2011 monthly drill and be one of the first in your new recruit class.
