We are extremely pleased that you want to become part of our team.  We have an open application policy and accept new applicants throughout the year.

You will find that our program is run in a military fashion using similar structure, courtesies, and customs as the US Marine Corps.  You will wear the same uniform and enlisted rank insignia as members of the US Marines Corps, with the addition of Young Marine patches.

You will have the opportunity to earn ribbons for personal achievement similar to badges earned in other youth programs.  And you will have the opportunity to be promoted in rank, which will require mastering knowledge and skills as outlined in the Young Marine guide book.  Our program is challenging and fun. 


 

You are welcome to visit a drill meeting before making a commitment to join our unit.  You can find drill information here (drill info). 

Please arrive wearing a solid red t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, and sneakers.  Bring a pair of blue jeans, a white crew neck t-shirt, and a black belt to change into after PT (Physical Training).  You will also need to bring a healthy sack lunch without pogey bait (candy, soda, or junk food).  And bring a spiral notebook and an ink stick (pen).

Once you have visited out unit and have decided to come aboard (and we are sure you will) download the forms below and bring them with you to our next regular drill.  Email Mrs. Bristol ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) with your uniform size so she can have your gear ready for you.
