DRILL INFO:

Check here regularly for drill updates.
It is your responsibility to know
where you are supposed to be and when.
Unless stated otherwise, the following applies to all drill meetings:
~ Arrive with enough time to stow gear before first formation.
~ Arrive in PT gear.
~ Bring crisply starched and ironed uniform on hangers. If you have not been issued a cammie uniform yet, bring ironed blue jeans, an ironed plain white crew neck t-shirt, and a solid black belt on hangers.
~ Bring a healthy sack lunch; for example a sandwich on whole wheat bread with lettuce and tomato, a piece of fruit and water. Pogey bait will be confiscated. Pogey bait includes all sweets, such as soda, candy, and chocolatey granola bars.
~ Bring your Young Marines binder - make sure you have a sufficient amount of blank lined paper.
~ Bring at least two ink sticks (pens) and a highlighter.
~ Bring your Young Marines Guidebook.
For all other events the uniform of the day is parade ready cammies with white t-shirt.
That means:
- trousers must be clean, starched, and pressed
- blouse must be clean, starched, and pressed
- cover must be clean and pressed
- white tee shirt must be clean and pressed
- belt must be clean, cut to the correct length and worn at the proper gig line
- boots must be clean and spit polished
- ranks must be clean and free of paint chips or scratches
- ribbons must be clean, in good repair, and mounted properly on ribbon bar
- hair must be cut to Young Marine specifications
- face must be freshly and cleanly shaved (if you shave)
- hands, face, and arms (visible skin) must be clean
- nails must be neatly trimmed and clean
