Who The Young Marines Are

The Young Marines of the Marine Corps League is a non-profit, nationwide, youth leadership and service program comprised of boys and girls between the ages of 8 through completion of high school.  The Young Marines program educates and inspires its members through instructional and adventurous activities.  We develop responsible citizens using the volunteer resources of a civilian and military partnership.  The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members.  The program teaches the

value of truthfulness, fairness, respect, courage, duty, loyalty, attention to detail and love of God and Country with emphasis on Marine Corps traditions.

Young Marines promotes physical fitness through the conduct of physical training, a drug-free lifestyle, and

close order drill.  The Capital City Young Marines is a challenging, exciting and motivating program that requires commitment to excel.
